Come sit with me

I help Catholic women find the virtuous middle in every part of life, body and soul included

Most of us learned to stuff it or spill it, push harder or give up, carry everything or hide. I teach the place between: see your own patterns clearly, hold them steady, and bring them into the light of Christ, so He can lead you to the step that is right for you.

The Catholic differenceSt. Thomas Aquinas taught that every virtue is a mean between two extremes, and that grace builds on nature. I apply both to the whole woman, faithful to the Magisterium.

My story

I came to this the long way

I started in the athletic world, learning how the body makes energy, heals, and performs.

As a young adult I came home to my Catholic faith slowly: reading my way into lectio divina, wrestling with St. Ignatius, and letting Theology of the Body bring me fully into the Church.

Then cancer brought me close to the end of my life, and it changed me forever. I learned that my mindset, my identity, my emotions, my nervous system, and even my cells were shaping how virtuously I could love my husband and children, and whether I would survive. So I went deeper.

What I found brings me full circle every time: biology and Catholic theology have always worked together. Only the last few hundred years of modern thinking made them feel opposed.

Today I'm a Catholic wife and homeschooling mom in East Texas, and I spend my working hours helping women see their patterns clearly and bring all of who they are to Christ.

The thread through everything

One way of walking, in every room

Whether we're reading Scripture, opening the body, or working through a hard week together, it's the same five movements.

i.

Notice

Name what is really happening in your body, your reactions, and your lean.

ii.

Hold

Stay steady with it. Don't stuff it, and don't spill it on everyone around you.

iii.

Encounter

Bring it to Christ and to the truth: Scripture read rightly and the wisdom of the Church.

iv.

Order

Find the virtuous middle between the two ways a good thing goes crooked.

v.

Own

Take the step Christ leads you to, one that fits you and feels safe to take, as priest, prophet, and king, never a victim.

The Virtue Study

The clarifiers: the virtue, your lean, the counterfeit, the virtuous middle, and this week.

The Encounter Room

Open the body, hear one sensation, meet Christ with it, and come home with a truth and a next step.

The Rising Tide Method

Step off the loop of overfunctioning and crashing, and into a steady pace you can keep.

The fellowship

We don't suppress and we don't vent in circles. We bring real questions, name our part, and leave with something to do.

What I believe

The things I'll keep telling you

Grace builds on nature

So we start with yours: your body, your breath, your rest, your nourishment.

Your body is speaking

That tight jaw or heavy chest is carrying information. Bring what it says to Christ.

Don't stuff it. Don't spill it.

Hold it steady, like a river under the ripples, until you can hear what it needs.

Your path is your own

Borrowed strategies rarely hold for the big things. When you see your patterns in the light of Christ, He shows you the step that fits you and feels safe enough to take.

Comfort first, then conviction

Quit bullying yourself, and stop calling avoidance “surrender.” Christ does both, from a place of safety.

Own your part, then act

Trusting God and taking action go together. This is our faith.

How I teach

The whole tree, from the fruit to the soil

Each layer helps with some things and leaves you hanging with the deeper ones. Mindset work, nervous system work, even theology on its own: none of them is a one-size fix. You were made in God's image, unique, complex, and holy, and you deserve support that treats you that way. So I walk with you through every layer, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and biologically.

The fruit

Virtue and achievement

What everyone can see in your home and your work.

The branches

Mindset

What you believe is true and possible.

The trunk

Identity

Who you are as a beloved daughter of God.

The roots

Emotional regulation

What happens in you when life presses.

The soil

Safety

Spiritual, mental, emotional, and biological.
