You've been faithful.
You've tried everything.
The problem isn't you.
It's the virtue definitions you were handed. They were distorted. And until someone shows you exactly where and why, every tool you reach for will leave the source completely untouched.
Not sure yet? Take the free Virtue Quiz and find out which distortion is running your life.
What's actually happening
She's faithful. Capable.
And she hasn't slowed down
long enough to ask why nothing sticks.
She prays. She goes to Mass or service. She shows up for everyone. She knows more about her faith than most of the people in her parish. And she still ends the week with tight shoulders, a migraine she ignores, and a quiet resentment she would never admit out loud.
She's tried the routines. The novenas. The journals. The podcasts. The retreat weekend. She came back feeling better for about four days, and then the pressure was right there waiting.
This isn't a discipline problem. It's a formation problem. And the Church already has everything she needs to solve it. She just hasn't been shown how.
The thing no one has told her yet
Satan quoted Scripture to the Son of God.
He's been using her favorite verses against her too.
She wasn't taught one vice per virtue. She was taught one side of each virtue, the side her church culture preferred, and told to practice it harder. The other side went unnamed. Which means her drift went undetected. Which means every attempt to grow has been pointing her at the wrong problem.
Modern culture quietly replaced the actual definitions. Peace became everyone getting along. Obedience became subduing your will. Surrender became absorbing everything. Humility became assuming you're always wrong. She learned these. She practiced them. And she got exactly what you'd expect from living inside a distorted map.
The real map
Every virtue sits between two vices.
She only knows about one of them.
The enemy doesn't need her to abandon Scripture. He just needs her to apply it inaccurately. And the way he keeps that going is simple: keep her focused on one vice while the other one runs unchecked.
- Peace is everyone getting along
- Obedience means subduing your will
- Surrender means absorb everything
- Humility means assume you're wrong
- Love means say yes to everything good
- Sacrifice means give until it hurts
- Peace is the tranquility of order
- Obedience requires prudence and reason
- Surrender is yielding to God, not to fear
- Humility is staying within truth under God
- Love is rightly ordered toward highest good
- Sacrifice is redemptive, not self-erasing
- Chronic exhaustion she calls faithfulness
- Resentment she calls patience
- Shame she calls humility
- Avoidance she calls surrender
- Control she calls obedience
- Depletion she calls charity
"God doesn't ask her to ignore her struggles. He asks to be invited into them."
Get the Virtue StudyThe primary resource
A 12-chapter discernment system.
Built to protect her from spiritual self-deception.
The Virtue Study isn't a devotional. It isn't another book about trying harder. It's a structured formation system that trains her to decode any passage of Scripture, diagnose which direction she drifts under stress, and apply it with precision instead of instinct.
Most faith resources ask: what does this passage mean? The Virtue Study asks: what virtue is being taught, which direction do I drift, what distortion am I tempted toward, what is the virtuous middle, and how do I apply it specifically to my actual life?
This is the thing that changes the interior courtroom. The shame spiral. The chronic yes. The peace that isn't peace. Twelve distortions, twelve chapters. One per virtue. The complete formation map her faith education never gave her.
The twelve chapters
- 12 chapters, one virtue distortion each
- The Virtue Finder Method, complete
- Real stories: Mary, Natalie, Ashley, and more
- Decode, diagnose, apply accurately every time
- Aristotle and Aquinas in plain language
- Yours to return to when the enemy gets loud again

Inside the fellowship
Mind. Body. Soul.
Three supports. One complete picture.
The Virtue Study clears her mind. But clarity alone doesn't change behavior. Her body has to learn that virtue is safe. And her soul needs a regular fire to burn off what keeps creeping back. No other container offers all three together.
Untangle the distortions.
She's been given one vice per virtue her whole life. Twelve chapters remove the wrong map and replace it with the real one. The enemy loses his foothold one distortion at a time.
- 12 live weekly sessions with Regan
- Full PDFs, no prep required
- Virtue Finder Method practiced every chapter
- Aristotle and Aquinas, in plain language
Bring the resistance to Christ.
Her mind sees the distortion. Her body still panics when she tries to change. The Encounter Room is where Christ meets that resistance. Not to override it. To minister to it.
- Nervous system safety from a Christian lens
- Guided body awareness and emotional processing
- Bring what the Virtue Study surfaces into prayer
- Led by Regan Clement
Into the Refiner's fire.
Once a month, every member in one room. This is not a check-in. This is a reorientation. Where softness gets challenged, lukewarm gets named, and the soul gets pruned toward who God is actually calling her to be.
- Monthly all-member live call
- Big-picture reframe rooted in Scripture
- Identify where you're still playing small or staying safe
- Malachi 3. The Refiner doesn't destroy. He purifies.
What women are saying
Changed because of it.
"I finally learned the difference between surrendering to God and surrendering to my fear of disappointing people. I can't unsee it. My marriage is different now."
"I've been in faith communities my whole life and nobody ever told me there were two vices for every virtue. That one thing changed how I read every passage of Scripture."
"I thought my exhaustion was a discipline problem. Turns out I had been practicing a distorted version of peace my entire adult life. The clarity alone was worth everything."

Why this works
Something different from therapy,
church groups, and every container she's already tried.
| What she actually needs | Therapy alone | Church small group | Rising Tide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Know exactly which virtue is being distorted in her life | Rarely the focus | Often makes it worse | The entire foundation |
| Psychology from a Christian perspective | Psychology, not faith | Missing entirely | Woven through everything |
| Be seen without being gossiped about | One-on-one, no community | Can't guarantee it | Professionally led, safe |
| Bring her body and her resistance to God, not just her mind | No faith integration | Missing entirely | The Encounter Room |
| Affordable long-term container | $150 to $300 per session | Free but flat | $34.95 per month |
She's been carrying this
long enough.
She doesn't need another resource to manage the symptoms. She needs the map that shows her where the distortion actually lives and a community that helps her practice walking free from it. That's what Rising Tide is.
